System Inventory
1. The system is inventoried and any missing or broken
components are replaced.
2. All critical data to include serial numbers is
verified and recorded.
Disassembly and Cleaning
1. The system is disassembled down to the sub-system
level.
2. All sub-system components are inspected and
thoroughly cleaned.
3. Defective or marginal sub-system components are
replaced
Mechanical and Electrical
Sub-system Testing
1. All moving parts are lubricated and tested for
smooth and proper functionality.
2. Marginal bearings, slides,
gears, etc. are replaced as
needed.
3. All mechanical and electrical tolerances are
measured and re-set.
Cosmetic Refurbishment
1. All covers and external components are thoroughly
cleaned, sanded and then
repainted to the original
manufacturer’s color and
quality.
2. Dented, warped or otherwise seriously flawed covers
are replaced
3. All pads and positioning aids are inspected,
thoroughly cleaned, disinfected
and when necessary, replaced.
Re-assembly and Mechanical
Testing
1. All sub-systems are re-assembled and tested
for correct mechanical and
electrical interface and
operation.
Upgrades
1. All system upgrades, both
software and hardware, committed
as a condition of sale are
installed and tested.
System Operational Testing
and Re-calibration
1. The re-assembled system is put through a variety of
tests under operational
conditions to insure correct and
unrestricted system
functionality.
2. System operational parameters and outputs are
measured and re-calibrated as
needed to insure that the system
fully meets the original
manufacturer’s specifications.
3. Image quality is finally tested and verified.
